• Endoneurium - loose connective tissue associated with individual nerve fibers is composed by collagen fibrils and mast cells
• Perineurium - specialized connective tissue surrounding a nerve fascicle.

Function: semipermiable barrier and protective role.

Composition: collagen fibrils and layers of contractile squamous cells with basal lamina on both surfaces.

• Epineurium - dense connective tissue with blood vessels and adipose cells that surrounds and binds together nerve fascicles into a common bundle.
