DNA integration level

According to the natural hierarchy of molecular-genetic systems and processes underlying the system GeneNetWorks, all the informational and software resources on the structure-function organization of pro- and eukaryotic genomes and genes are integrated under the "DNA Integration Level". All the resources integrated are distributed between two modules.

TRANSCRIPTION REGULATORY REGIONS DATABASE (TRRD)

It is designed for accumulation of experimental information on the structure-function organization of regulatory regions of eukaryotic genes. TRRD is the unique informational resource on long gene transcription regulatory regions.

SITE RECOGNITION MODULE

This module is designed for recognizing functional sites and regulatory regions in DNA genomic sequences. It contains the following modules:  

• B-DNA SITE VIDEO: a knowledge base for storing the information on conformational and physico-chemical characteristics of transcription factor binding sites  

• SELEX_DB: a knowledge base on artificial sequences of transcription factor binding sites

• REGSCAN: analysis of extended regulatory regions of eukaryotic genes

• SITE ACTIVITY PREDICTION: a knowledge base on functional site activities  

• DNA NUCLEOSOMAL ORGANIZATION knowledge base
