RNA integration level

LEADER_RNA

This knowledge base is designed to evaluate mRNA translational properties. It contains 5'UTR sequences of high- and low-expression mRNAs of mammals, dicot, and monocot plants. These sequences are used as training samples for the computer system. Knowledge base LEADER_RNA contains, also: (1) a description of mRNA properties discovered that may be used to discriminate between the high- and low-expression mRNAs and (2) programs predicting mRNA translational efficiency from significant contextual and structural characteristics of mRNA 5'UTRs.
