FUTURE PROSPECTS
- The following extensions of TRRD are planned:
- New sections including genes responsible for pathological processes such as diabetes and
Alzheimer's disease.
- New table TRRDREGUNITS, describing promoters, enhancers, and silencers and providing
access to the nucleotide sequences
- New TRRD viewer reflecting hierarchical organization of regulatory units and
reprepresenting the information in textual and graphical form
- User-friendly interface providing SRS access to the database and to the thesauruses
